About this day Jeep Safari excursion to La Palma

Do you fancy spending a day among volcanoes and discovering why La Palma is the Beautiful Island of the Canaries?  Our Jeep Safari tour takes you on a journey through rugged landscapes aboard our vehicles, the best way to discover a land that is full of surprises. It’s the perfect excursion for spending a day with your family doing something different... And you won’t find a safari like this one every day!

The dramatic beauty of La Palma

This excursion has been designed so that you can spend a care-free day in La Palma. We organise everything so all you have to do is enjoy the ride. We’ll collect you from your accommodation (or a nearby point) at the time stated on your booking, then we set sail from Los Cristianos port and before heading off to discover La Palma.

We’ll pass through some of the most emblematic points in the south of the island, such as Real Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Nieves church, Cumbre Vieja Natural Park and Las Salinas de Fuencaliente salt mine, places that will inspire you with the island’s unique natural energy. And along the way you’ll collect an impressive series of images that you can store in your mind...or your camera!

We’ll also take you to sample delicious local food and to discover magical spots that our guide will explain in great detail. Forests, volcanoes, idyllic beaches and clear skies: what more could you ask for?

At the end of the day, we’ll head back to Tenerife and drop you at your hotel so that the end of your day is as enjoyable as the rest of it.

Real Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves

The number one place of worship in La Palma because it has a Gothic sculpture of the Virgen de las Nieves (Virgin of the Snow), the island’s patron saint. It’s a small temple with an inviting and impressive interior and is set in a charming square with a large jacaranda.

La Concepción Viewpoint

A viewpoint on the edge of a crater with impressive views over Santa Cruz and the port.

Cumbre Vieja Natural Park

This landscape is filled with volcanoes and surprising contrasts between the black volcanic stone and the green Canary Islands pine trees. And when you include views of the blue sea, you have a picture-perfect image.

Llano del Jable Astronomic Viewpoint

This viewpoint at 1,300 m above sea level has a panoramic view of the Aridane Valley and its neighbouring mountain range, and the Llano del Jable plain. An unmissable viewpoint in southern La Palma.

El Paso

Also known as the “City of the Almond Trees”. This town is surrounded by kilometres of forests and is dotted with typical houses decorated with flowers and fruit trees. An orchard that will immerse you in nature.

El Aljibe Beach

A beautiful natural pool that was recently created by volcanic activity. Gravel, black sand and volcanic rock emphasise the bright, crystal-clear water. A beach like you’ve never seen before.

Salinas de Fuencaliente salt mine

Another emblem of La Palma and with good reason: it’s a visual treat. Walk around the salt mine, buy souvenirs at the shop and have a drink in the restaurant. The sea views are totally relaxing.

Santa Cruz de La Palma

A peaceful city with a tropical vibe: stroll along colourful streets that are bursting with colour and admire flower-filled Canarian balconies as you enjoy life at a slower pace.
